This basket is woven by hand in our community using long grasses and shredded banana fiber. Women weavers sit together under mango trees, twisting and stitching each row with patterns passed down from their grandmothers. The basket is soft yet sturdy, perfect for carrying market finds or hanging on a wall as living art.
