• Pick your own cherries – Harvest ripe red coffee cherries from the tree, then sort by hand (floaters vs. sinkers).
• Traditional pulping – Use a hand-cranked wooden pulper or the old “foot-stomp” method to remove the skin.
• Sun-dry on raised mats – Spread your wet beans on woven mats, learn to turn them every few hours, and take home a small bag of dried green beans (approx. 100g).
